2003

  • February - Completion of $10 million, fully-underwritten public offering at $10.00 per share to fund future expansion
  • 3rd Quarter - Bank of Florida - Southwest becomes profitable
  • 3rd Quarter - Bank of Florida Trust Company reaches $100 million in assets under advice

2004

  • 1st Quarter - Bank of Florida Trust Company becomes profitable
  • 2nd Quarter - Bank of Florida - Southeast becomes profitable
  • July - Completion of $21 million secondary public offering at $12.50 per share to fund future expansion
  • July - Trading of company shares begin on NASDAQ Global Market
  • 3rd Quarter - Bank of Florida - Southeast reaches $100 million in assets

2005

  • April - Completion of $13.7 million private placement at $15.00 per share to fund future expansion
  • June - Bancshares of Florida, Inc. total assets exceed $500 million
  • 2nd Quarter - Bancshares of Florida, Inc. becomes profitable
  • November - Bancshares of Florida, Inc. common stock reaches all-time high of $24.05 per share
  • December - Bancshares of Florida, Inc. earns $1.2 million pretax for the year, a $4.0 million improvement over 2004


2006

  • April - Opened new Financial Center in Bonita Springs, Florida
  • May - Completion of a $58 million public offering at $21.50 per share to fund future growth
  • July - Bank of Florida - Tampa Bay reaches $100 million in assets
  • August - Completed acquisition of Bristol Bank in Coral Gables, Florida
  • August - Announced agreement to acquire Lee County - based Old Florida Bankshares, Inc.
  • August - Opened new Financial Center in Aventura, Florida
  • December - Changed Company name from Bancshares of Florida, Inc. to Bank of Florida Corporation
  • December - Bank of Florida Corporation reports $2.3 million in net income, $3.9 million in pre-tax for 2006

2007

  • April - Completed acquisition of Lee-County Based Old Florida Bank
  • August - Opened new Financial Center in Clearwater, Florida
  • September - Completed name change of Old Florida Bank to Bank of Florida
  • November - Relocated downtown Fort Lauderdale Financial Center and Bank of Florida - Southeast Headquarters to new facility in the Riverwalk District of downtown Fort Lauderdale

2008

  • May - Relocated Coral Ridge branch in Fort Lauderdale to a stand alone Financial Center on Commercial Boulevard
  • July - Opened new Financial Center in Coral Gables, Florida
